Tag Punch flower/pinwheel...

Hi everyone!! I'm back with another card today that features a new technique/idea I found while searching blogs online. My inspiration came from this wonderful blog post. All you need is one of Stampin' Up!'s tag punches...the small or large one. For this card, I used the smaller tag punch. The idea card turned the tags into a wreath, but I decided to make it a flower. If you would like to make this card at your very own workshop, please let me know!! It's a cute one and it's actually pretty easy!
Stamp Sets: Day of Gratitude
Paper: Wild Wasabi DSP, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Versamark (leaves on More Mustard), Crumb Cake (sponging)
Accessories: Tag Punch, Basic Pearls, Bone Folder, Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon, Sponge

Pennants!!

Hi everyone! I FINALLY ordered some things out of the new Idea Book & Catalog! Life got a little busy and I just never had the chance to order anything. But, I'm so glad I finally ordered some things! One of the sets on my order was Pennant Parade. It's such a cool set. I also bought the coordinating punch, the petite penants builder punch. It is awesome!! Another new thing on this card is the DSP (Pocketful of Posies). Isn't it pretty?! Also, I used a super cool new sentiments set called Petite Pairs. I love it! If you've not seen it, definitely check it out!! Hope you like my card...be back soon! :) Thanks for checking in!
Stamps: Pennant Parade and Petite Pairs
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, DSP (Pocketful of Posies)
Ink: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze (sponging), Night of Navy
Accessories:  Top Note Die, Petite Pennants builder punch, rhinestones, not hemp twine...the thinner stuff (I'm having a memory issue right now!), Stripes embossing folder (THIS IS NEW ALSO!!!), Stampin' Dimensionals, Big Shot
(this is the inside of the card! the pair for the sentiment on the front punched out with a 1" circle and layered on a modern label punch  (which is blinged up with some rhinestones! :D )

Why am I thankful?!

Hi everyone! Today I have a really cool project to share with you all. This is called a Blessings Journal. I found the idea for one of these on someone's blog. I thought it was awesome! Each day, you write 5 things that you are thankful for or blessed by. Isn't that a great idea?! This was made using the retired hostess pack of In Color DSP's. I used the Top Note Die; butterfly, modern label, and scallop punches; rhinestones; Just Believe and Flower Fest stamp sets; and Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon. I got the journal at a local store. SU! does sell art journals that would be absolutely perfect for this and would work better because they are plain and have no designs on the cover. LOVE SU!! Let me know if you have any questions, or want to make your own!! :)

Dahlia Fold...

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great holiday weekend! I'm back to share a new technique with you all and also a quick card sample. This technique is called the Dahlia Fold. All you need is a circle punch, some DSP, and to make things easier, a bone folder. First, you punch out your circle (for this quick 3x3 card, I used a 1" circle punch). Then, you do some folding! Fold in half, fold each half up to that score line, and then fold back a bit. It's actually pretty easy after you get the hang of it. If you want more detailed instructions, let me know and I'll do a tutorial and post it on line for you all! I hope you like this...it's very cool! The DSP used on this card is retired. But, the cardstock used is Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, and Basic Grey. Questions? Email me!! Check back soon!
