Over this past weekend, I attended the Stampin' Sisters Stampin' Up! demonstrators meeting! This was my first meeting with my uplines and fellow demonstrators since I started with SU! in November. It was a very fun time! I learned some things, met great people, received beautiful swaps, and created two really cool projects! Simple Valentine Defined card...

Hi everyone! I have a new card to share with you today. It uses the stamp set Valentine Defined found in the Occasions Mini Catalog (browse this catalog by clicking on the link on the right hand side of my blog). This set comes in both wood mount and clear mount. This was such a simple card to make! It uses four colors of cardstock, five stamp pads (or even markers!), ribbon, and two punches. But it's so easy to make! For the Crumb Cake base, I stamped (in Crumb Cake ink) the valentine definition. Then, I cut a Very Vanilla piece of cardstock and stamped the heart weeds (what else should this be called?!) in Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz. The heart was then stamped in Night of Navy. Then, I layered that all on a piece of Night of Navy cardstock. The sentiment was stamped in Red Rose and punched with an oval punch and layered with a Pear Pizzazz scalloped oval punch. I used a Stampin' Dimensional to pop it up. To tie everything together, I used a piece of Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon. So easy to do! Hope you like this card! I love it! It's so cute!

H-D inspired card...

Hi everyone! I'm back with a card today that was inspired by Harley Davidson's colors!

I made the card using 1.5 x 1.5 inch squares. I then took my fingernail and scraped it against the edges of the squares to loosen the fibers up a bit. This kind of gives it a rougher looking edge. I think it turned out cute! The stamp set I used is a level one hostess set called Afterthoughts. The only way to get this is to hold an in-home workshop or catalog workshop and reach $150.00 in sales (before tax and S&H). This is easier than you think! Chocolate Holder!

Hi everyone! I have a yummy project for you today! This is a chocolate holder that will hold the small Ghiradelli Chocolate bars. I got the idea from Angie Kennedy Juda...she has fabulous ideas! I changed the dimensions a bit. My dimensions are 7 1/2 x 3 and you should score at 2 1/2 and 5. The section furthest to the right or the left should be cut off at a diagonal. (picture of this is below.) This will hold the chocolate in place in the middle and your friends will be able to tell what it is! Both of the holders use the Eat Chocolate Stamp set (WM: 121931 and CM: 122006) found in the Occasions Mini Catalog. This can be viewed by clicking on the link on the right side of my blog. The colors are listed underneath each indiviual holder.

Nowww, on to my card for today. This card uses the Just Believe stamp set (116948), Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White cardstocks. The Old Olive paper is from the Brights Designer Series Paper collection. Old Olive taffeta ribbon and hemp twine were also used. The finishing touches were with the Daffodil Delight button (from Brights button collection) and the Word Window punch. I love this card! I hope you enjoy it as well!
