Tag Punch flower/pinwheel...

Hi everyone!! I'm back with another card today that features a new technique/idea I found while searching blogs online. My inspiration came from this wonderful blog post. All you need is one of Stampin' Up!'s tag punches...the small or large one. For this card, I used the smaller tag punch. The idea card turned the tags into a wreath, but I decided to make it a flower. If you would like to make this card at your very own workshop, please let me know!! It's a cute one and it's actually pretty easy!
Stamp Sets: Day of Gratitude
Paper: Wild Wasabi DSP, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Versamark (leaves on More Mustard), Crumb Cake (sponging)
Accessories: Tag Punch, Basic Pearls, Bone Folder, Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon, Sponge

Hi everyone! I FINALLY ordered some things out of the new Idea Book & Catalog! Life got a little busy and I just never had the chance to order anything. But, I'm so glad I finally ordered some things! One of the sets on my order was Pennant Parade. It's such a cool set. I also bought the coordinating punch, the petite penants builder punch. It is awesome!! Another new thing on this card is the DSP (Pocketful of Posies). Isn't it pretty?! Also, I used a super cool new sentiments set called Petite Pairs. I love it! If you've not seen it, definitely check it out!! Hope you like my back soon! :) Thanks for checking in!
Stamps: Pennant Parade and Petite Pairs
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, DSP (Pocketful of Posies)
Ink: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze (sponging), Night of Navy
Accessories:  Top Note Die, Petite Pennants builder punch, rhinestones, not hemp twine...the thinner stuff (I'm having a memory issue right now!), Stripes embossing folder (THIS IS NEW ALSO!!!), Stampin' Dimensionals, Big Shot
(this is the inside of the card! the pair for the sentiment on the front punched out with a 1" circle and layered on a modern label punch  (which is blinged up with some rhinestones! :D )

Why am I thankful?!

Hi everyone! Today I have a really cool project to share with you all. This is called a Blessings Journal. I found the idea for one of these on someone's blog. I thought it was awesome! Each day, you write 5 things that you are thankful for or blessed by. Isn't that a great idea?! This was made using the retired hostess pack of In Color DSP's. I used the Top Note Die; butterfly, modern label, and scallop punches; rhinestones; Just Believe and Flower Fest stamp sets; and Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon. I got the journal at a local store. SU! does sell art journals that would be absolutely perfect for this and would work better because they are plain and have no designs on the cover. LOVE SU!! Let me know if you have any questions, or want to make your own!! :)

Dahlia Fold...

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great holiday weekend! I'm back to share a new technique with you all and also a quick card sample. This technique is called the Dahlia Fold. All you need is a circle punch, some DSP, and to make things easier, a bone folder. First, you punch out your circle (for this quick 3x3 card, I used a 1" circle punch). Then, you do some folding! Fold in half, fold each half up to that score line, and then fold back a bit. It's actually pretty easy after you get the hang of it. If you want more detailed instructions, let me know and I'll do a tutorial and post it on line for you all! I hope you like's very cool! The DSP used on this card is retired. But, the cardstock used is Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, and Basic Grey. Questions? Email me!! Check back soon!

Sweet Sunday..

Hi everyone! I'm back with another really fun card to show you all. This card was made using the technique called the "Amazing Fold Card." Ooops! The 2nd picture should be rotated, but you can still get the picture! The top pic shows what the card looks like when it is finished. The 2nd one shows the card once it is opened. It's a really cute little card and it's different; you can't buy this! I got the directions from Stampin' Up!. Also, all of the products are SU!. Hope you enjoy this! I think it's just adorable!!

Cardstock: Rose Red, Perfect Plum (DSP), Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla
Inks: Same as above

Decorative Frame

Hi everyone! I'm back with a project today. This was inspired from a project in the brand new IB&C on page 173. It's a decorated frame! It's so cute and definitely fun to make! I started by cutting a 4x6 piece of First Edition DSP. I crinkled that and sponged with Crumb Cake ink. Next, I ran a piece of black vinyl through the Big Shot using the Top Note Die; I only used a piece of the die. I then punched out a bunch of punches (scallops, blossoms) using DSP from the Brights Collection and cardstock. The colors I used are Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo, and Old Olive...what a great combo--I found it using the color coach (a fantastic tool that you'll definitely want!!). Then, I put the punches together in a random order. Some of them are by themselves. I added some brads and buttons and rhinestones. There is just so much cool stuff on this one project! Everything was adhered to the class using glue dots--the newsprint DSP is under the glass. I hope you like this project. I had a blast making it! If you'd like to make one yourself, let me know! I might put a class together for this! Come back soon and thanks for looking!

This is a matchbook album for pictures, notes, etc. I found this idea in the July issue of Stampin' Success Magazine. This is available only to SU! me to join my team so you can get lots of great ideas! All this takes is a piece of paper with a few folds, some paper for the inside, and some accessories. Now you've got a cute album! The designer paper I used is called Greenhouse Gala. Isn't it beautiful?! If you like it, you better order fast! This paper is retiring at the end of June. :( Click on the link to the right of the page to shop for it now! The stamp set used is Just Believe which is in the IB&C. The "for you" is from a set in the brand new IB&C out on July 1st. Hope you like the album. Thanks for looking and talk to you soon!
I was going to post two more pictures with this post, but blogger is being silly! Hopefully I'll get them on later...

Don't forget about the retirement lists! Visit my online store to view the lists!

Butterfly fly away...

Hi everyone! Hope you're enjoying your weekend and are gearing up for another week. The card I have for you today features items that are retiring at the end of June. The DSP and the butterfly stamp are both hostess items currently available in the Idea Book & Catalog. Unfortunately, with the start of a new catalog these items will no longer be available. :( The DSP is from the In Color paper pack, which is a hostess option. The Butterfly stamp is from the hostess set Punch Potpourri. The colors featured on this card are Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, and Pear Pizazz. If you're saying to yourself, I've gotta have these!!, then call me today to book a workshop before June 30th. Or, you can gather up a few orders that reach $150.00 (before tax/shipping) to get them! Please refer to the hostess chart for more information. These are two great items! Please visit my online store to shop 24/7 in your own home (in your pj's even!) at your own convenience. Hope you like the card. Stop back soon for some more samples; I'm going to try to throw in another MDS page! Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget!!!! If you would like a copy of the new Idea Book & Catalog, please contact me to have your copy available to you on July 1st!!

MDS Scrapbook page sample...

Hi everyone! I'm back today with something new...a scrapbook page! This was made using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio. It's so easy to use! You just purchase the program and then start to scrap away. What's really cool is that there are always new downloads. You are never running out of things to use! :) There's such a great variety as well. I'm still experimenting with MDS since I just purchased it. What on earth was I waiting for?! It's such an awesome program! If you have any questions, please let me know!! Thanks for looking and have a great day! Check back soon for new card samples!
